We are proud to announce that Transborder Air Cargo is the first to work directly with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in establishing LTL transport rules and regulations within the ACE Portal/eManifest system to suit the demands of our unique service offering. The ACE program will go live from both our Toronto and Montreal locations, effective May 7th, 2007 for all shipments destined to the United States and beyond. FAQ’s about the ACE Portal: Q. What are the benefits to you as a Transborder Air Cargo customer? A. With the new technology in place and our state of the art computer software, we are now able to supply CBP with your shipment information before it even leaves our facilities, either in Mississauga, ON or Dorval, PQ. To ensure smooth transit and uninterrupted handling, we will need your brokers assistance with advanced copy documentation showing full value, and the Harmonized Tariff code for entry purposes. Q. What can you as the airline/forwarder do to expedite the process? A. Your completed paperwork should be faxed, e-mailed or hand delivered to our facilities by 3 p.m. EST on the day of departure. Cargo delivery times should be requested at the time of booking. Additional information concerning the new requirements can be obtained by calling your local Transborder Air Cargo office. Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to being of service to you. |
